Meet Our Company’s Founder And Principal
Brig Black, our company’s founder, is an industry veteran and proven deal maker in commercial real estate investment and management. From 2012 to 2021, Brig was a partner with Lincoln Property Company, serving as EVP of the San Diego Region. Prior to Lincoln, Brig was a partner at The Shidler Group for 12 years.
Experienced
Brig is a proven deal maker. He has completed hundreds of acquisitions, dispositions, and lease transactions over the course of his career – totaling over two billion dollars in gross consideration. He has successfully leased and divested dozens of research and development, life science, and industrial assets in the San Diego region. Now, he leverages his impressive track record to manage our company.
Education And Affiliations
Brig earned his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Utah and completed his Master’s degree in Real Estate Development at Columbia University. He is also an active member of NAIOP San Diego, where he served on the board of directors for over a decade and served as chapter president in 2012.
Personal Life
Brig enjoys his personal time with his wife, Melissa, and their two teenagers. You’ll often find him mountain biking, on the slopes, or on the soccer pitch cheering on his kids.
